Afternoon Worship - Attachment to KrsnaThe constitutional nature of the nama-sadhaka is he is the eternal servant of Sri Krsna.
ayi nanda-tanuja kiṅkaraṁ
patitaṁ māṁ viṣame bhavāmbudhau
kṛpayā tava pāda-paṅkaja-
sthita-dhūlī-sadṛśaṁ vicintayaOh Nandanandan! I am Your eternal servant. Forgetting You and due to my own mis-deeds I have fallen in this material ocean of births and deaths and suffering immensely. Out of compassion kindly think me as dust particle of Your Lotus Feet, accept me as Your eternal servant so that I may cross over this material ocean.

śrī rādhām prāpta-gehāṁ nija-ramaṇa-kṛte klṛpta nānopahārām
susnātāṁ ramya-veśāṁ priya-mukha-kamalāloka-pūrṇa-pramodām
śrī kṛṣṇaṁ caivāparāhṇe vrajam anucalitaṁ dhenu-vṛindair vayasyai
śrī rādhāloka-tṛptaṁ pitṛ-mukha-militaṁ mātṛ-mṛṣṭaṁ smarāmiRadharani returns home from Radha-kunda to Javat in the afternoon and is still engrossed in serving the Lord. Lord did not ask Her to do anything. But a real servant has great taste in seva. Seva in itself is an expression of bhava. She prepares various good dishes and sends it to beloved Sri Krsna. But She is not satisfied and wants to do more and more dishes. In the material world also we see parents do so many things for the children, but always feel we have not done anything for children. For an outside person they may do some help for a day or two and then say, you have come again? Go away, like this.
Here, She takes bath nicely and dresses Herself with good garments only to please Sri Krsna. We cannot think of it. In Goloka Vrndavan all residents do not consider their own happiness. 'na gani apana dukha, sabe vanchi tara sukha'. Even Lord wants the happiness of His devotee and devotees want Lord's happiness, no body wants their own happiness.
But here in the material world everyone hankers for happiness and material sense enjoyment, and when there is hindrance anger arises. 'kamat krodho abhijayate, krodhad bhavati sammohah sammohat smrti-vibhramah smrti-bramsad buddhi-naso buddhi-nasat pranasyati' (Translation: From lust arises anger, from anger complete delusion arises and from delusion betwilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool.) When some hindrances arise in fulfillment of our desires in anger we commit so many sins and all our qualities are destroyed. But when one's desire is to fulfill Lord's desire and wish, he does not consider his own happiness or distress. No body can disturb him. In spite of great oppression by Hiranyakasipu, Prahlad did not become distressed and unbalanced. His good character remained intact, as it is, and did not change. When you are elevated to the spiritual world your conduct also should match the characteristic of the residents of that world. In Javat, in Vrndavan dhama, in Radha-kunda, your conduct should match the conduct of the residents there. One is blasphemed from all the four directions. If one tolerates, he is all the more harassed, and further he is defamed, blasphemed more and more like when an iron bowl is made it has to be burnt in fire. Not just it is burnt, it is hammered with a hammer and has to be rubbed with force and pressure, then it takes shape of a bowl. Even after such great oppression when you become perfect, then you become eligible to go to Vrndavan. In this test if you fail, fall down and die, then what? When Lord sees you desire to go then He will test you by subjecting you to harassment from all four directions and check whether you are fit, then you get eligibility to enter into Dhama.
By darshan of Krsna, Radharani is greatly pleased. We remember such Radharani.
Krsna returns from grazing ground with cows and cowherd boys, cows, dhama, cowherd boys are all pure and transcendenal, and on seeing Radharani on the way, He is extremely delighted and pleased. Then He meets His parents, and father-like and mother-like gopas and gopis and offers them His pranams and give them delight. Yashoda Devi sees Krsna as her child, not as Supreme Lord, and seeing that He has returned from forest cleanses Him by giving Him a nice bath. (She thinks) Krsna does not know how to bathe by Himself. I remember such Krsna.
