ata eva namābhāse sarva pāpa vināṣa āra samsara kṣaya
(Sri Bhakti-Rasamrita-Sindhu, Dakshin Part, 1/52)

Therefore, glow of the Holy Name can destroy all sins and the worldly entanglement.

If you will not do Harinam without ten fold offences your mind will not be purified. In the sanctified heart all these transcendental pastimes of RadhaKrishna can be manifested. For that reason you have to first know the glory of the Holy Name.

taṁ nirvyājam bhaja guṇa-nidhe pāvanaṁ pāvanānāṁ
śraddhā-rajyan-matir atitarām uttamaḥ-śloka-maulim
prodyann antaḥ-karaṇa-kuhare hanta yan-nāma-bhānor
ābhāso ‘pi kṣapayati mahā-pātaka-dhvānta-rāśim

The evidence has been given from Bhakti Rasamrta Sindhu. That person is richly endowed with all good qualities who has got the aptitude to do Krishna nama, the highest name, crown of all avataras. And Krishna is worshiped by realized souls, Supreme Redeemer of all redeemers. But conditions are imposed here, with firm faith that by serving Krishna you serve all. That sort of firm faith should be there. That is to say without deceitfulness, without hypocrisy, and immediately because this precious human birth we have got, any moment we may lose this and with simple heartedness, with frankness of heart. Why? As the glow of the Sun removes darkness and removal of darkness all sorts of difficulties are removed, like that the glow of the holy name, not only Suddha Nama, the glow of the Holy Name Namabhas entering into the cave of the heart will destroy all great sins and nescience. You have to be well-established in Sikshastaka, otherwise the transcendental pastimes will not be manifested in the sanctified heart.

parama pāvana kṛṣṇa tānhānra charaṇa,
niskapata śraddhā saha karaha bhajan,
jānra nāma suryābhās antare praveśi,
dhvaṁsa kare mahāpāp andhakārarāśi,
ei śikṣāṣṭake kahe kṛṣṇalīlā-kram,
ihāte bhajan krame līlāra udgam

Gradual progress you will get if you practice Sikshastak written by Caitanya Mahaprabhu. This is essential, otherwise actual benefit you will not get.

ei śikṣāṣṭake kahe kṛṣṇalīlā-kram,
ihāte bhajan krame līlāra udgam,
prathame prathama śloka bhaja kichu din,
dvitīya ślokete tabe hauta pravīṇ
chāri śloke kramaśaḥ bhajana pakkva kara,
pañcam ślokete nija siddha deha vara

In the fifth verse you will have the realization of the realized soul, transcendental Supreme Lord how you can serve Him. If you have reached the transcendental realm He should be also there. Remaining in this world comprising of sattva, raja and tamo guna how you can do Harinam? Harinam is beyond this mundane gross and subtle senses. For that reason without the realized state, realised soul, you cannot enter into the transcendental pastimes.

ei śloke siddhadehe rādhāpadāśraya,
ārambha kariyā krame unnati udaya,
chaya śloka bhajite anartha dure gela,
tabe jāna siddhadehe adhikāra haila

Sixth Verse that is written, eight ecstatic feelings will be manifested.

nayanaṁ galad-aśru-dhārayā
vadanaṁ gadgada-ruddhayā girā

All these ecstatic feelings will be manifested if you do Harinama without offences. Then you can get the realized state. Without getting realized state how you can enter into (the transcendental pastimes). To be eligible for this you have to get this qualification.

adhikāra nā labhiyā siddhadeha bhāve,
viparjya buddhi janme śaktira abhāve

Without being competent, really eligible, how you can get it? If without getting the qualification you do it then reverse result you will get, just the reverse.

sāvdhāne krama dhara yadi siddhi cāo,
sādhura carita dekhi śuddha buddhi pāo,
siddhadeha peye krame bhajana karile,
aṣṭakāla sevāsukha anāyāse mile,
śikṣāṣṭaka cinta kara smaraṇa kīrtan,
krame aṣṭakāla-sevā habe uddīpana

Always you have to think about Sikshastaka Caitanya Mahaprabhu has written and you have to remember and also you have to speak or sing about these things, or chant Hari Kirtan. Then your mind will be sanctified and eight periods of pastimes of RadhaKrishna will be manifested.

sakala anartha jābe pābe premadhana,
caturvarga phalguprāya habe adarśana

How you can know whether you have got progress or not? All ulterior desires, worldly desires are removed, emancipation will vanish by being well-established in the teachings of Sikshastaka.

First Verse of Sikshastaka:

ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ
bhava-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇaṁ
śreyaḥ-kairava-candrikā-vitaraṇaṁ
vidyā-vadhū-jīvanam
ānandāmbudhi-vardhanaṁ
prati-padaṁ pūrṇāmṛtāsvādanaṁ
sarvātma-snapanaṁ
paraṁ vijayate śrī-kṛṣṇa-saṅkīrtanam

By Sri Krishna Sankirtan you will get all kinds of attainments, principal seven attainments have been mentioned here. Cleansing of the mirror of the heart, extinguishing the forest fire of birth, death and threefold afflictions, bestowing eternal soothing benefit like moonlight, life of spiritual learning i.e. awakening of the real self, increasing of the ocean of bliss, bestowing at every step sweet taste of complete transcendental ambrosia, and thoroughly cleanses and cools one’s body, mind and real self. All glories to Sri Krishna Sankirtan!!

saṅkīrtana haite pāpa-saṁsāra-nāśana
citta-śuddhi, sarva-bhakti-sādhana-udgama
kṛṣṇa-premodgama, premāmṛta-āsvādana
kṛṣṇa-prāpti, sevāmṛta-samudre majjana
(Chaitanya Charitamrita Antya 20.13-14)

“By performing congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra, one can destroy the sinful condition of material existence, purify the unclean heart and awaken all varieties of devotional service. The result of chanting is that one awakens his love for Krishna and tastes transcendental bliss. Ultimately, one attains the association of Krishna and engages in His devotional service, as if immersing himself in a great ocean of love.”

Thinking of Krishna-lila (pastimes of Krishna)

niśante kirtane kuñja-bhaṅga kare dhyāna
krame krame citta lagne rasera vidhān

When your mind is sanctified by doing Krishna Nama then you will get eligibility to think about transcendental pastimes of Krishna. For that reason, emphasis has been given to Sikshastak.

niśante kirtane kuñja bhaṅga kare dhyāna

At the close of the night we have to meditate through kirtan, not without kirtan, about the awakening of RadhaKrishna in the grove.

krame krame citta lagne rasera vidhān

Gradually you will feel in your heart the sweetness of the transcendental bliss through delightful relation with Krishna. That sort of rasa, rasa means sweetness of Krishna with delightful relation, pure love.

rātryante trastavṛnderita bahu-vira-vaibodhitau kirasārī
padyair-hṛdhyair api sukha-śayanād-utthitau tau sakhibhiḥ
dṛṣṭau hṛṣṭau tadātvoditarati-lalitau kakkhaṭīgīḥ saśaṅkau
rādhā-kṛṣṇau satṛṣṇāv api nija-nija dhāmnyāpta talpau smarāmi

At the close of the night, at dawn, Vrinda devi to awaken Radha Krishna sends Suk-Sarika birds to sing and awaken Radha Krishna. When They were sleeping Vrndadevi had sent the birds to distant place so that they cannot chirp and chatter and do some disturbance in the sleep of RadhaKrishna. But at the proper time Vrnda devi ordered them to go near RadhaKrishna and start chattering, chattering means singing of the glories of RadhaKrishna. They are not ordinary birds, they are transcendental spiritual birds, not startling birds, imitating the voice of the human beings, mimicry. They are transcendental spiritual birds and they know the glories of RadhaKrishna. One is male parrot and the other is female parrot. When the male parrot is singing the glories of Krishna, the supporters, all the devotees of Krishna are delighted. But the supporters of Radharani they become depressed. But Sarika the female parrot then sings more than Krishna's, about the glories of Radharani, and that time the supporters of Radharani, supporter devotees, personal associates of Radharani are very much glad. In this way competition going on in very sweet voice so that without disturbing RadhaKrishna automatically They will open the eyes by hearing very sweet and mild tone, voice. And gopis are also doing this. First Radharani hearing the glories of this competition of Radharani and Krishna, Radharani opens Her eyes. Radharani is very much satisfied. But difficulty is this that Krishna is not opening His eyes. What is the matter? And now the resposibility is Radharani's. So long gopis were worried how to wake up RadhaKrishna. When Radharani opens Her eyes and all the responsibility now is on Radharani to awake Krishna. It is not good to awake Krishna saying it is time and push Krishna. It is a kind of offence. So, Radharani is worried what can be done. Because Krishna has got His attention on all kinds of devotees. One female monkey by the name of Kakkhati wants to serve by her harsh cries, screaming sound. But the gopis they do not allow, now you should not make this sound, it is not good, and she is very much depressed. She thinks I am a very abominable creature, I have got no scope to serve. Krishna intentionally does not open His eyes. No, you must give her order to do the service. Ultimately when it is getting late, always that monkey is looking towards the gopis. They are very much disturbed, they are worried. Why are you worried, you allow me. I shall make a loud sound and Krishna will open His eyes. She is always looking at them, give me permission. They say, no. Give me permission. No. Ultimately they are forced to give her permission. Alright, you make sound and she makes loud harsh screaming sound. By hearing that sound Krishna opens His eyes. Krishna likes this devotee, may be harsh, but she is a pure devotee. Devotees voice is liked by Krishna. So we are not to be afraid if we have some sort of drawbacks but sincerity is there then Krishna will grace us.

After awakening of RadhaKrishna both looking at each other with wistful eyes and fear that now it has become late and we may be detected. Supreme Lord Sri Krishna and Radharani is His Absolute counter-part of Sri Krishna, They are omniscient, everything. But they cannot make this pastimes always thinking I am Supreme Lord, Omniscient. They forget this. This is done by Yogamaya. They forget themselves, otherwise this lila, this pastime cannot be done.

After opening the eyes They run towards Their respective houses and to Their respective beds. There all the houses are closed, closed doors, but are spiritual. They enter into the house without opening the door, silently They enter into it and go to Their respective beds to sleep.
