3:22pm to 5:46pm. O Nandanandan, in spite of my being your eternal servant, due to predicament of my own deeds, I am drowned in the terrible ocean of births and deaths. Out of compassion kindly think me as dust particle of your Lotus Feet.

Afternoon Worship – Attachment to KrsnaWithout awakening of one’s eternal constitutional form (Svarupa jnana) bhajan is not possible. First comes knowledge of relationship (sambandha), after that spiritual practice (abhideya) and chanting of the Names (Nama) is the best spiritual practice. Without relationship with Sri Krsna (sambandha) you cannot start bhajan, you cannot do Harinam.
ayi nanda-tanuja kiṅkaraṁ
patitaṁ māṁ viṣame bhavāmbudhau
kṛpayā tava pāda-paṅkaja-
sthita-dhūlī-sadṛśaṁ vicintayaO Nandanandan, I am Your eternal servant. Forgetting You due to my own misdeeds and offenses I am drowned in the terrible ocean of births and deaths from time immemorial. But now I have attained human birth. You are all merciful. So, please be compassionate and kindly accept me as Your servant. Think me as a particle of dust under Your lotus feet.

A glimpse, a hint has been given here very briefly about the eternal pastimes of Radha-Krsna in the afternoon.
śrī rādhām prāpta-gehāṁ nija-ramaṇa-kṛte klṛpta nānopahārām
susnātāṁ ramya-veśāṁ priya-mukha-kamalāloka-pūrṇa-pramodām
śrī kṛṣṇaṁ caivāparāhṇe vrajam anucalitaṁ dhenu-vṛindair vayasyai
śrī rādhāloka-tṛptaṁ pitṛ-mukha-militaṁ mātṛ-mṛṣṭaṁ smarāmiAfter meeting with Krsna at Radha-kunda Srimati Radharani returns to Javat to her house in the afternoon. She has that mood of Supremacy internally (She is the Absolute Counter-part of Supreme Lord Sri Krishna), but still manifests various eternal pastimes. After coming back She prepares various good dishes of different names like Amrtkeli, Karpurkeli, etc for Krsna. She also takes bath nicely, dresses Herself with good garments and anxiously waits on the path for the return of Krsna from the pasture and feels extremely delighted on seeing the Lotus Face of Her beloved Sri Krsna. I remember such Srimati Radhika. In service no difficulties are faced there because Lord and the devotee both are objects of service, they serve to fulfill the desire of the Served and not for fulfillment of their own desires.
But in the present world we see everyone has his own desires and so within the house there are fights. Brothers fight among themselves, brothers and sisters fight, parents fight, for one’s own selfish interest, ego of sense enjoyment. So, here it is called forest fire – ‘davanal’.
There, in the Vraja dhama, there is no forest-fire, all are seen as objects of service and do not see themselves as enjoyers. They feel happy when they get an opportunity to serve. Lord serves the devotees and the devotees serve the Lord. Lord’s target is to give bliss to the devotee, and the devotee’s target is to give pleasure to the Lord. They serve to satisfy the other and not for their own satisfaction.
Krsna with cows and calves and cowherd boys returns from the grazing grounds. In Brahma Stava Brahma says, we do not have transcendental eyes, but devotees have transcendental eyes. We do not have eligibility, but still in our false ego as predominating deities, controllers of material senses we have darshan of Lord’s wanderings and pastimes and get bewildered and attracted. Then what to say about the devotees who have transcendental senses, how fortunate they are!
Krsna meets with Nanda Maharaj, Yashoda Mayya and all. By seeing Radharani Krsna feels extremely delighted and pleased. And Yashoda Devi cleanses Krsna, gives Him a bath.
