Question: Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur mentions that Radha dasya is the highest attainment. I can understand, accepted. But then, we can learn from Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu that there are five primary rasas- Shanta, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya rasa. Relationship with Krishna and not with Radhika. Can Maharaj tell us what Krishna desires more, serving him directly or serving His Radhika?

Srila Gurudev: Here you see, if you go to the scriptures, what you will find? There Krishna has said - mad-bhakta-pūjābhyadhikā sarva-bhūteṣu man-matiḥ (SB 11.19.20). Why in Bhagavatam? Worship of my devotee is more than worship of me. It is His own saying. Why, mad-bhakta-pūjābhyadhikā? Revise that verse (SB 11.19.20). Again in Bengali in Chaitanya Charitamrita - amar bhakter puja ama haite bado. Can you understand Bengali?

Worship of my devotee is more than worship of me. Krishna is saying, it is in Chaitanya Charitamrita. In vedas and Bhagavat you will find proof for this. You will get scriptural evidence. Numerous evidences are there. Worship of devotee is superior to worship of Me. Superior. Don't be puzzled. Why is that? Again.

ahaṁ bhakta-parādhīno hy asvatantra
iva dvija sādhubhir grasta-hṛdayo
bhaktair bhakta-jana-priyaḥ
(SB 9.4.63)

Narayan is speaking to Durvasa rishi. ahaṁ bhakta-parādhīno. Although I am independent, I am absolute, but it is my nature to become dependent to devotee, subservient to devotee, why? When devotee worships me, I want to give him something.

Take this. A true devotee does not want anything. I don't to be indebted to anybody. I am Supreme Lord, you want this? Property, Brahmand, whatever you want. He (devotee) will say No. Yoga Siddhi? No. Mukti, emancipation? No. nothing Except your service I do not want anything. So what can I do? So I have to become subservient. It is my nature. I want to payback. They do not want anything else, except Me. For that reason devotee is more important to us.
