Srila Gurumaharaj has established three different Maths in Assam. He also was given the service of Sarbhog Math. Sarbhog Math was established by Paramgurudev, Srila Bhakti Siddhant Saraswati Goswami Thakur. He used to send our Gurudev in advance party to make the arrangement for any establishment as he knew that wherever he goes, the success is inevitable. Gurudev had come from Bangladesh. He had never gone to Assam. Once in a divine dream, Srila Gurudev had got a mantra from Sri Narada Risi. After coming to the external consciousness, he could not recall the mantra and became very perturbed. He immediately left his house and went to Himalayan Mountains calling out the name of Supreme Lord, Sri Hari, incessantly. He did not drink or eat anything for three consecutive days. And then he heard a divine voice saying that he will get the darshan of his Gurudev at the same place from where he had come. Then he came to Sri Dham Mayapur and got the darshan of Srila Prabhupad. At the time of first darshan itself he understood that he is his Gurudev and left his household life for his service. Our Gurudev’s face resembled to his Gurudev, Srila Prabhupad. He had a very tall attractive figure with golden complexion! Whoever had his darshan they know about him.

What happened there? Chaitanya Gaudiya Math is established there? Who has done that (impossible task)? Our Gurudev has done that. Nobody was capable to establish math there. Our Gurudev was not an ordinary person. His conduct and his dealings were out of this world. Without letting others know, he has performed so many great tasks which are not possible to perform by any ordinary human being. So, here (at Prabhupad's birthplace) a big Chaitanya Gaudiya Math is established. Who has done that? Our Gurudev. Many dissenters tried to put hinderance in his task. But no body became successful. Just by having his darshan everything used to change. What happened there in Chandigarh? Who has got that place? Our Gurudev has got.

The ideal of Srila Gurudev was different from others. Like his vision for the danda (holy mace). Gurudev has not seen this danda to be ordinary; he sees it as the three purusha avatars, the expansion of Sri Baladev, Mahasankarshan. You have seen, how Gurudev with lot of sincerity, would keep his danda and how much respect he had towards his sanyas guru from whom he has accepted the danda.

Our Gurudev is a shuddha bhakta. He is not in front of us now but he is doing everything. In general we think that we will do this but what he will do that is correct. No one has done anything according to his own wish and nor will be done in future also. What Gurudev decides that only will happen. Like one time, I told I am not eligible to take the renounce order of life so I won’t take. Gurudev stayed silent. I felt sad inside. But he has done something which forced me to say, “Whatever you think is good for me, you do that”. Many such instances are there. Our Gurudev was having an extraordinary power. Now also, from the transcendental world he is taking care of everything. We pay our innumerable prostrated obeisances unto his lotus feet and pray for his causeless mercy.

After hearing harikatha from Prabhupad, our Gurudev got much astonished. He asked a bharamchari there, “I am going back to Kolkata now. Could I get his darshan there also?” he replied, “ Yes, we have our math at Ultadanga road in Kolkata. He will go there soon. Then you can have his darshan there.” Gurudev told, “Ok i will go there.” Then Gurudev used to go and hear harikatha from Prabhupad there. At Bagh Bazar Gaudiya math, Srila Prabupad spoke on a Srimad Bhagavatam shloka “labdhva sudurlabham....” for whole month. Gurudev used to go and hear that discourses. He took diksha initiation there and was named Sri Hayagriva Das Brahmachari. He surrendered everything of his in the service of Gurudev. He never did anything against the wishes of his Gurudev. His god-brothers also say this. Whole day he used work outside, “VOLCANIC ENERGY!!” He would finish one service activity and come back to Prabhupad. Prabhupad would not say, "You worked all through the day. You sit, eat, and take rest." No. He would say, "Just now you have to go there for registration." Immediately he would go. If we were at his place, what we would have said, “What is this? I just came from finishing one task. He is not even saying me to sit, eat or take rest and immediately sending me at other place. He has got no mercy. I do not want stay at the place like this. I will leave math.” But our Gurudev was not like that. He did not do like that. Once Prabhupad had sent Gurudev and many others at a place very near to Kurukshetra for some service. Many persons from there were going to Kurukshetra to have darshan. They asked Gurudev to join them for Darshan. But Gurudev told, “I did not get order from Prabhupad to go there.” All others went there but he did not go. His Gurudev sent him there for some service. Leaving behind that service, without permission of his Gurudev, he would not go anywhere. Can we do like that?

Clip 7
Gurudev was sent with Sridhar Maharaj. Gurudev was having special relation with Sridhar Maharaj they would stay together in preaching tours. Gurudev has never been to Assam so he went there for the first time. Prabhupad will come along with his associates and also some important guests will come but there are no houses or buildings there. But in a very short period of time, he arranged accommodations for all the vaishnavas, he build temporary houses with straw for living. Then he thought so many vaishnavas and devotees will come, what will they eat? He also had to work for Srila Prabhupad grand welcome to that place. Simultaneously he was making arrangements for everything. On the day of utsav, they saw that everything is there in very excess quantity like heaps of rice, dal, vegetables, oil etc. Prabhupad was been told that the people from nearby villages have brought everything and still they are coming with lot many things in their hands. They are not rich but when they heard that a saint has come from Nabadwip along with other devotees, they come walking 20, 30, 40, 50 miles for darshan. They know that one should not take darshan of a sadhu in empty hands. So they were all carrying various things like oil, rice, vegetables, and dal when they were coming to have darshan of the sadhus came from Nabadwip. Later it was like a mountain when they have kept their things together. Prabhupad was astonished to see their faith. Prabhupad then ordered to our Gurudev “They are the devotees of Krishna, they have the taste of serving so you have to stay here and start the preaching. They are Krishna devotees so then Gurudev struggled so much in going to so many villages and preaching them about Krishna consciousness and established three temples there and the presiding deities.

He preached extensively in various places of the city. Various dignitary personalities of the city saw his tall and large form and thus got very much attracted to him. If anyone of you who haven’t seen him please tell me. We have seen him personally. What a form he possessed!!! He is not an ordinary person.

Clip 9
Guruvarga didn’t ask us to do that. We did that only. Where have we gone? Is our Gurudev an ordinary person? This is a special kaliyuga. We are moving as per our own whims. This is not desirable. It is their order to practice only Pure Devotion. Now we may do something else but we have to reap the fruits of our actions. So be careful. This is a special kaliyuga.

Gurudev is still here now. He is sitting here don’t think this to be ordinary. His installed deities are here they are not ordinary deities. His installed deities are Supreme Lord himself don't think this to be an ordinary imagination.
