The first question is on the sixth verse of Upadeshamrit where Srila Rupa Goswami advises not to incur offense to any Vaishnava by observing his external behavior or bodily defects. One of the audio has Srila Gurudev’s instructions to a person who had entered in his marriage life recently that time. He advises him to live Krishna-centered life with a one pointed aim of serving Krishna only.

So, a devotee means a harmless creature. He will do no harm to human beings, no birds, no beasts, no insects, noneless. He is always following ahimsa paramo dharma. That is ahimsa: one should not harm any animal, any beast, any bird, physically or mentally and quarreling also; never harms. He follows trinad api sunicena. He considers himself that I am the humbler than blade of grass. I must not harm anybody.
Wherever Srila Guru Maharaj may be, he has great affection for every disciple and to give the proof of this I reproduce some portions of his letters received from abroad.
